Using Neural Networks to identify particle jets

 The use of Neural Network identification techniques as applied to the problem of specifying the partonic ancestor of a particle jet detected in electron - proton collisions is addressed.

Published as internal research note in the IC HEP group and in the ZEUS collaboration in July 1992
